The My Passport for Mac is a good addition to WD's library of portable hard drives; it makes setup easier for Apple users while still supplying the same features and performance of the My Passport line.
Hello, anyway how and what did you use to disable quicktime? If you just disabled the player, you could try enabling it back by doing the following: - click on computer/my computer - click on the drive where your operating system is installed (usually C:) - click on Program Files folder - find and click on the Quicktime folder - find the QuickTimePlayer.exe icon - double click on it - it should start Keep in mind that if your operating system is running a 64 bit operating system, there should be two folders: Program Files and Program Files x86. Quicktime folder should be found in the Program Files x86 folder. If this doesn't work, let us know if you disabled the program services or the program start up with msconfig.
Microsoft Office 2013 is the new version of Microsoft Office that you can download and install on any Windows 7 or 8 computer. Which Microsoft Office 2013 edition should I download? Microsoft Office 2013 Pro is available as a 60-day trial while there’s no exact expiry date fixed for Office 365.
Excel has an 'Evaluate Formula' feature (it's located in the Excel Formulas ribbon among the Formula Auditing group, as shown in the picture below). Is there an equivalent to that Excel feature in LibreOffice Calc? EDIT: Following fixer1234 suggestion, I add a link to a site showing. This way, users familiar with Calc but less familiar with Excel, may better understand what the matter is about and more easily contribute information. In the example you can notice what I call the step-by-step ' evolution' of the formula. In fact, with every step of the evaluation process, part of the formula is replaced with its actual result till the reaching of the final result. (This may come very handy when dealing with particularly long formulas.).
Google Chrome is a Web browser by Google, created to be a modern platform for Web pages and applications. It utilizes very fast loading of Web pages and has a V8 engine, which is a custom built JavaScript engine. The reason it is not on App Store (I know that Mac OS user definitely searched on Apple Store they would not have found it) that all the application which you get on App Store are optimize with mac OS and to achieve & to work with Mac OS, that developer have to be approved by the Apple guys. Thanks for your comment above with regards to the em dash, however, all it gives you is the en dash. The en dash is 2 hyphens together, the width of a capital N. The em dash, which is what many people, like myself are getting frustrated with, when writing, need an em dash, the width of a capital M. Equivalent to 3 hyphens. Whilst reading novels, you will see the longer em dash used. This is what I use in writing, but I have a slight gap between my en dash and dash to make my em dash.
If that doesn't work, or if you don't trust AutoUpdate to do the right thing, you can download the latest updater and install it yourself. That'll download to your Downloads folder as a.pkg file. How to run the AutoUpdate installer. Double-click on 'Microsoft AutoUpdate 3.0.6.pkg' to launch the installer.
Installing Windows on a Mac should be a piece of cake with Bootcamp, but that rarely is the case. In fact, I would personally say that Boot Camp Assistant is one of the worst apps that comes with OS X and unlike the rest, it doesn’t work seamlessly. A few of its drawbacks:.
Question: Q: Ideal Mac Pro 4,1 upgrades -- cost vs benefit Hi all, I would love some input on what to upgrade for my Mac Pro 4,1 to squeeze the most out of it performance wise for a fixed budget of about $3K. Like my Mac Pro, I’ve continually updated this page and will continue to do so until my Mac Pro retires. My opinion of the redesigned Mac Pro still remains negative as used a heavily upgraded 2008 Mac Pro 10 years only to upgrade to a Westmere Mac Pro in 2018, waiting for the mythical return to modular computing.
Outlook for Mac to Android and iPhone using DejaCloud Advantages: DejaOffice is a landing pad for PC Outlook data on Android and iPhone. Contacts, Calendar, Tasks, Memos, Attachments. Then go to Calendar > Preferences > accounts and look for the 'internal server' for the exchange account and paste the server from Mail. In my case Calendar was trying to use 'm.outlook.com' as the server and and after I replaced with the server from Mail that had a more specific name, the Calendar started syncing again.
